100 years of Council Housing.

This year 2019 is the anniversary of the Addison Act which paved the way to Council Housing. 

Somers Town is a “living museum of Social housing” so let’s record it! News of a competition below

Your picture in our next issue of Spirit on ‘100 years of social housing’.

  • Walk and drawing Saturday 21 September set up 2.30pm Living Centre Ossulston St, NW1 1DF
  • Ampthill Estate Saturday 14th September Festival Pop Up museum
  • Panel Discussion October 2019 TBC

Deadline: November 30 2019

Conditions

Entries made must be a social flat/s in Somers Town Nw1 London.

Entries can be inside or outside with or without people.

Original drawings or photos are accepted. If an old photograph, please indicate who/ when, and a story, e.g. ‘our first day in our new flat’.

Entries may be used in our magazine 100 years of social housing and will be kept on file for future use by the Club.

Prizes only for Somers Town locals – proof of address.

Tips: Use pictures with a story and clear focus.
