‘Spirit!’ a new documentary film on Somers Town is being shown on Friday November 8th.
A fascinating view of how Spirit of Somers Town through the eyes of local George, who narrates the tale of change from slums to now.
With unseen 1930s footage of Father Jellicoe in the Anchor pub, there’s a big part played by pubs in the story!
