BBC interviews People’s Museum

London icon and institution Robert Elms interviewed the People’s Museum about stolen working class art from St Pancras Housing, and the quest to save this stolen Somers Town art by Gilbert Bayes.

Founder Diana Foster and guide Steve McCarthy were up bright and early to go to the BBC, where they managed to get photos next to George Orwell statue.

Londoner Robert Elms has a fondness for Somers Town and has interviewed Steve Denholm, co-founder of the Festival of Cultures in the past with Jackie Casey, who runs it now.

For those who missed it, the show is available on BBC Sounds here,

Find out more about Bayes’ art here, and donate to our fundraiser to help bring it back to Somers Town.
