This club was set up by a group of local residents.

Councillor Roger Robinson has added his support:

I am very grateful as one of the councillors for St Pancras & Somers Town for the establishment of the Somers Town History Club. Those of us who either live in Somers Town or work there know of some of the history of the area but there is so much more to know and appreciate and the History Club will be a great venue for all to meet and hear about our beloved Somers Town’s history especially as we are still working towards setting up a Somers Town Heritage Centre/Museum when we obtain the property and financial support. Our history goes back to Roman times; the French Revolution; and so on and I want to warmly thank Diana Foster for setting up the Club. See you there? First Wednesday each month……..Basil Jellicoe Hall in Drummond Crescent”
