August picnic was rained out but we took refuge (appropriately) in the St Pancras Old Church for a cosy evening of food, reminiscences and good company. Lester entertained us with enthralling tales of grave-robbers, satanists, weddings and wakes. And Mimi had her birthday wishes!
In July we showed a film ‘The amazing story of Talacre’, where in the 1970s a group of residents successfully fought to keep open land as a park for the community with their local council.
