Our museum space is for hire and you support our community museum by doing so.

A Space for us is a bright, cosy space just minutes from King’s Cross, St Pancras, Euston and the Eurostar.

Book this affordable central London venue for your exhibition, talk, film showing, next team away day, or socials. We’ve held typewriter art workshops and exhibitions.

When you hire one of our spaces, you’re not just booking a room—you’re helping Somers Town become resilient and the space to serve for its communities. exhibitions, events, film showings and workshops or meetings.

Exhibition hire

The space can be adapted to exhibitions – we’ve held sound installations, film showings and our wall display can be converted. We welcome use of our outside street window for FREE if exhibitions are appropriate to our themes. Just contact us.

Team socials and workshops

Why not have a Night (or lunch!) at the Museum for your team social or meeting?
It’s quirky venue with interesting exhibits, has a projector, piano, printing press and record player. Barista coffee is available and catering can be provided – we can recommend local cooks to support local communities.

See below for details – measurements and we offer flexible rates. We have a sliding scale dependant on purpose and group – community or corporate. Display equipment is provided.

  • Hire rates: Standard = £350 per day / half day £170 Corporate = £500 per day Community/ student - £150 - £40 per day dependant on type of request Meetings £50-15 dependant This does not include installation and clear out of your work. Total clear out of all museum items = £600 on top of the above rates Printing press removal extra. We can cover the existing walls. Advice on use of equipment hire projector, amp microphone, record player, coffee machine, and basic cleaning included. Deposit payable for costs of damage.. Catering can be provided at fee TBC.

Visual equipment: 2 projectors (one on ceiling + DVD player + adaptable spot lighting

Sound equipment: Amp + microphone + stand + 2 record players + 4 speakers gallery
quality + amp for music equipment + piano

Use of 2 large standalone film screens 3x2m – we placed one outside for a film screening outdoor space

Up to 20 chairs + 2 large or 4 small expandable tables for workshop

Window space has on left 12 clear perspex A3 frames + on right 3 movable bars for holding pictures/ posters

6 small white plinths varying sizes and 2 gallery glass cases (one 1.5m wide + one 2m high)

6 movable open wooden frames 2.8m high x 91 cm width

Barista coffee machine; small kitchen with fridge + ice box; toilet; cart

Printing press (cannot be moved)
