The People’s Museum Somers Town is open.
You can visit us at 52 Phoenix Road NW1 1ES between 11-5.30pm on Wednesday to Friday and Saturdays 11-4pm.
We have a display of history of the area; old photo albums, our Radical Poster wall, read books and material in our small reading library, and you can also see old films of slum clearance. We now serve coffee and tea on donation. There is a small offer of books, postcards and prints on donation.
Is it accessible?
We are ground floor and there is a small ramp to the museum, which wheelchair users and buggies have used. There is a toilet, but the accessible toilet is next door at Training Link on request.
Our outdoor parklet is ground floor and accessible. We recommend you use your smartphone QR reader to get the most from your visit – please ask us for aid. A printed guide with large type is available.
Is it free?
You can view our exhibitions free – but we appreciate a donation!
There are books, T-shirts and prints on sale – with a local discount. Please ask.
